1979
The Origins
Slayer Blades finds its roots in the passion and competence of its founder, Mr. Gaetano Scattolin, and most of all in his extensive experience in the metalworking industry. The company’s first establishment was erected in Albizzate, in the province of Varese (Italy), but almost immediately it relocates to Oggiona S. Stefano, which is merely 5km away from the first location.
1990
RBA Spare Parts
RBA Spare Parts is born, a division of Slayer Blades that is active in the global supply of spare parts for scales, slicers and other equipment for professional kitchens.
1992
The New Establishment
Professionalism, reliability and a constant attention to innovation enable Slayer Blades to increase its market share. Moreover, the innovative productive cycles lead the company to build a new establishment in Casalbeltrame, in the province of Novara (Italy).
2006
Broadening the Offer
To satisfy the ever-increasing demand of the global market in which it operates and the specific requests of its clients, Slayer Blades broadens its offer by including blades for industrial slicing equipment, in its catalogue.
2008
Original Slicers
Slayer Blades’ extensive experience and the founder’s passion for the restoration of vintage slicers gives birth to Original Slicers. Specifically, this department is a mechanical workshop that specializes in the restoration of authentic vintage flywheel slicers manufactured in most cases at the beginning of the XXth century by the renowned brand Van Berkel.
2011
Continuous Innovation
Continuous research and constant development of innovative and high performing solutions lead Slayer Blades to present its ITK and SB470 sharpening systems. In the same year, in collaboration with German associated firms, Slayer Blades patents the BI-metal’s application to circular blades for slicers: the outcome is a blade made from stainless steel with a hard steel cutting edge.
2015
A New Patent
Slayer Blades patents RIPPLE BLADE, an industrial blade that combines the BI-metal qualities to a blade profile that has been studied to guarantee maximum stability during use.
2018
Cor.Sa 3D
The birth of the Slayer Blades division that is dedicated to 3D optical scanning, reverse engineering, 3D printing and additive manufacturing of sand molds and metal parts.
